BULLY

This was a birthday present for a friend of mine. She has a major crush on all things Teddy Roosevelt. I did trace most of this drawing from a famous photo of TR and then tried to add my own flourish to it. There is a famous poster of Obama done by Shepard Fairey that simply has the word "Hope" underneath an iconic, propoganda-like profile of Obama. That was inspiration for this. In reading the accompanying text to the TR photo, the author said the term Bully actually meant wonderful back in the day. Which has me know questioning the use of the phrase "bully pulpit." In the words of Inigo Montoya, from The Princess Bride: "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
